Anger Management

If you have issues with anger control or lash out at others and later feel regretful, then please join our anger management sessions.

Do I Need Anger Management?

Everyone expressions anger. Anger is a natural and universal emotion that is often associated with fear, stress, abuse, financial concerns, threats to well-being, or other unmet needs (i.e. physiological, psychological, spiritual, etc.). Regardless of your age, gender, culture or ethnic background, anger is a normal response that stimulates us to take action in order to protect ourselves, set boundaries, or take immediate action. Health conditions such as depression, drug/alcohol abuse and certain mental health disorders can also contribute to anger. Studies have suggested that hormones and chemical imbalance within the body can impact how the body reacts to emotions, and if uncontrolled, may lead to long-term health complications.

We offer an anger management course which is conducted in 12 group (50min) therapy sessions.  Each session is facilitated by a skilled specialist who offers guidance and support to help you manage anger and control emotional responses. The sessions are designed to teach cognitive-behavior regulation, effective ways to communicate, and stress management skills. Rather it be self-directed, employer requirement or court ordered, anger management therapy sessions can assist with learning how to communicate your needs in a positive and healthy way.

If you have issues with anger control or lash out at others and later feel regretful, then please join our anger management sessions as they may be the right fit for you.

Individual and couple therapy sessions are also available.
